METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CONDUCTOR PART The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a conductor part (10, 10a, 10b) for a connector unit (12), especially for a use in a subsea application, wherein the conductor part (10, 10a, 10b) comprises a conductive core (14), an insulating sleeve (16) and at least a first conductive layer (18, 18a) arranged between the conductive core (14) and the insulating sleeve (16), wherein the method comprises at least the following steps, wherein the first two steps may be reversed: Equipping at least one section (20) of a radially inner surface (22) of the insulating sleeve (16) with the first conductive layer (18, 18a); equipping at least one section (24) of a radially outer surface (26) of the insulating sleeve (16) with at least a second conductive layer (28), wherein the second conductive layer (28) is at least a layer selected out of the group consisting of a metal layer (30) or a conductive plastic layer; inserting the conducting core (14) in the insulating sleeve (16) before or after an equipping step of a surface (22, 26) of the insulating sleeve (16) with a conductive layer (18, 18a; 28).
