<p>A gastrointestinal catheter having feeding and suction channels in close proximity. The gastrointestinal catheters may have a controlled leak via a recirculation feature. whereby the feeding channel (1) comprises a pinhole channel (7) leading to the aspiration channel (2), opening in close proximity to the feeding channel internal end portion, whereby said pinhole channel is of a size to provide a flow of recirculated digestive juices in the range of between about 20 ml/minute to about 50 ml/minute between the aspiration channel and the feeding channel.</p> |
