The device (1) has multiple transportation routes having conveyors (2,21,22). The incoming conveyor has two outgoings conveyors arranged to each other in such a manner an overlap portion is formed in transportation direction. A distribution element (4) is provided transverse to the transportation direction, so that article stream arrives in transportation direction toward the conveyors.
