The present invention relates to a method for assembling a cable tray, wherein the cable tray includes: a pair of side rails (10) facing each other and arranged to be separated from each other; and a plurality of rungs (20) arranged to be perpendicular to the side rails (10) and separated from each other by a predetermined distance between the side rails (10). Since the side rails and the rungs forming the cable tray are combined by using a hitting tool or a hitting device like a punch, the present invention enables the cable tray to be simply and easily assembled unlike a conventional technique for assembling a cable tray through welding or by using screws, thereby increasing the efficiency of production and maintenance. In addition, the present invention eliminates the need of welding operation, therefore can be effectively applied to an aluminum material. Particularly, the shape structures of the side rail and the rung are simplified and therefore the production cost of the cable tray can be reduced. According to the present invention, a method for assembling a cable tray through combining by hitting comprises: a side-rail/rung connection step for preparing a pair of side rails (10) wherein a lower fixating end (11) having a C-shaped vertical cross-section and forming an insertion groove (112) is placed on the inner side of the lower part, and inserting both ends of a rung (20) into the insertion grooves (112) of the side rails facing each other; and a lower fixating end hitting step for hitting the lower fixating end (11) of the side rail (10) and forming a fixating protrusion (113) due to the plastic deformation of the lower fixating end (11), thereby fixating the rung (20) to the lower fixating end (11). |
