PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket that can guide a straight tube type lamp having a pair of L-shaped lamp pins to a mount position.SOLUTION: A straight tube type lamp 12 is mounted in a socket 16 by inserting and rotating a pair of L-shaped lamp pins 29 of the straight tube type lamp 12. The socket 16 has a socket main body 41, and a rotor 42 and a pair of terminals 43 disposed in the socket main body 41. An insertion port 49 in which the pair of lamp pins 29 are insertable is provided to a plane intersecting to the front face of the socket main body 41 which faces the straight tube type lamp 12 when the straight tube type lamp 12 is mounted. The front face of the socket main body 41 is provided with an opening portion 50 which intercommunicates with the insertion port 49 and in which the pair of lamp pins 29 are rotatable. The edge portion of the opening portion 50 facing the insertion port 49 is provided with a slope portion 55 at which the straight tube type lamp 12 obliquely projects from the front surface side to the back surface side along the front surface lamp rotation direction with respect to a predetermined mount position. |
