<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing a chitin ground product capable of increasing yield by increasing an enzyme-saccharification rate of a chitin decomposition product obtained in an enzymatic reaction process, in the method, wherein the chitin ground product, which is a raw material of the chitin decomposition product, with a low degree of crystallinity, is obtained by allowing mechanochemical solid-phase reaction by performing fine grinding using prior art and the obtained chitin ground product is subjected to saccharification by the action of an enzyme. <P>SOLUTION: The chitin ground product is produced, while performing mechanochemical pulverization of a chitin-containing raw material, by maintaining the temperature of the chitin-containing raw material in the reaction temperature range of dehydration and deproteinization for a certain period of time during or after the pulverization. The chitin ground product is supplied as an intermediate product in the method and the apparatus, in which the intermediate product, which is obtained by performing powderization of a chitin raw material comprising a chitin-containing composition using dry grinding, is subjected to enzyme-saccharification treatment to produce saccharides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
