<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photochromic compound which excels in recording retentivity and durability, and is useful as a high sensitivity optical recording medium without the volume change at the time of information recording, and to provide a postscript type optical recording molecule material, a display material and a fluorescence label material using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The photochromic compound is expressed by general formula (1). In the formula, X is hydrogen, a halogen, a cyano group, a 1-5C linear or branched alkyl group, a 1-5C alkoxy group, or a substituent chosen from the group consisting of CH<SB POS="POST">3</SB>COO-; Z is an alicyclic compound of a five-membered ring (atoms other than carbon may be included in the ring), or a heteroaromatic five-membered ring; R<SB POS="POST">1</SB>and R<SB POS="POST">2</SB>each independently denote a hydrogen atom, a 1-3C alkyl group or alkoxy group, a halogen element, a cyano group, or a formyl group; and P<SB POS="POST">h</SB>denotes a phenyl group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
