<p>The present invention relates to a structure and method for connecting a front roof rail and front pillar inner pieces of a vehicle and, more specifically, to a structure and method for connecting a front roof rail and front pillar inner pieces of a vehicle characterized by including the front pillar inner pieces arranged both front sides of front doors of the vehicle in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and having an extension unit extended inward to the width direction of the vehicle; the front roof rail including a lower front roof rail arranged in the width direction of the vehicle and including roof rail reinforcing units extended to be joined to the extension units of the front pillar inner pieces on both ends and an upper front roof rail joined to be overlapped on the top of the lower front roof rail; a side outer reinforcement piece arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and joined to be partly overlapped on the roof rail reinforcement unit joined to the front pillar inner and the outer surfaces of the front pillar inner pieces; and a side outer panel arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle to be overlapped on the outer surface of the side outer reinforcement piece. The structure and method for connecting the front roof rail and front pillar inner pieces of the vehicle are capable of improving the rigidity of the lateral part of a vehicle body and collision resistant performance and reducing the weight and production cost of the vehicle.</p> |
