<p>A concatenated BCH decoder is disclosed. The concatenated BCH decoder includes a syndrome update unit, a key equation solving unit, an error location search unit, and an error correction unit. The syndrome update unit updates multiple two-dimensional syndromes in parallel based on concatenated BCH code words transferred from error words and page memories. The key equation solving unit creates error location polynomials based on the updated two-dimensional syndromes. The error location search unit creates error words based on the error location polynomials. The error correction unit corrects the concatenated BCH code words on the page memories based on the error words.</p> |
