<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device appropriately performing synchronous control of a motor in two systems and achieving good steering feeling. <P>SOLUTION: Control means (27) controlling motor drive circuits (26A, 26B) includes: first command value calculating means (30) calculating an assist current value corresponding to a traveling state; and second command value calculating means (40) performing d/q coordinate system current feedback operations (34, 35) based on the assist current value and a current value obtained by adding respective current values of a motor (12) in two systems detected by current detection means (32A, 32B).
