<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and inexpensive chain guide with high strength. <P>SOLUTION: The chain guide includes: a chain guide base 10 formed along the travel direction of a timing chain; and rollers 2 rotatably supported by the chain guide base 10 and brought into contact with the timing chain.
