<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection device which can discharge air bubbles even if inks are mixed with the air bubbles from nozzles accompanied by cleaning, and a maintenance method. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejection device includes: a liquid ejection head 18 formed with the nozzles 23 for ejecting inks; a maintenance device 14 which cleans the nozzles 23; and a control part 60 which ejects inks of second liquid amounts larger than first liquid amounts from the nozzles 23 after ejecting inks of the first liquid amounts from the nozzles 23, and after that, controls the liquid ejection head 18 so as to eject inks of third liquid amounts larger than the second liquid amounts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
