Rotatory moulding machine - with integral reciprocating screw feed system and automatic moulding release

Machine having a split mould which can rotate about one or two axes and is surrounded by an enclosure rotating about the same axis as the larger yoke. The enclosure acts as a a cantilevered rotating shround for a bank of flame heating jets and has a window through which mouldings can be released onto a conveyor for removal. The rotary mounting is hollow to allow a reciprocating screw feed unit to discharge into the mould. Pref. the feed screw is hollow and porous and can be pressurised for fluidisation of the feedstock if particulate. For making hollow or twin plastic mouldings using biaxial rotation or continuous mono-axial rotation with continuous or intermittent feeding if desired for making heterogeneous walled mouldings. Can be highly automated. The bulk feed temp. cycle can distinct from the moul temp. cycle.
