<p>A filling machine for filling articles (100) with at least one product comprises a plurality of operative stations (9, 10, 11, 12), moving means (5) for moving the articles (100) from an operative station to a successive operative station, a weighting apparatus (2) comprising an operative weighting unit (3) and a reference weighting unit (3'), transferring means (6) for transferring the articles (100) to be weighted from the moving means (5) to the operative weighting unit (3) only and vice versa, processing means (8) connected to the weighting units (3; 3') for receiving from the operative weighting unit (3) data relating to the weight of the weighted articles (100) and from the reference weighting unit (3') comparative data relating to measurement disturbances and/or perturbations due to vibrations and/or accelerations and/or air flows and/or air turbulences occurring within the filling machine (1) so as to compensate the data relating to the weight of the articles (100) on the basis of data relating to the detected measurement disturbances and/or perturbations.
