<p>The present application relates to a vehicle security inspection device 1 utilising a continuous X-ray generator. The device comprises a cooling fluid mechanism (60, Fig. 10) comprising a source of cooling fluid, at least one cooling fluid pathway (62), and a pump arranged to pump the cooling fluid around the cooling fluid pathway. The cooling fluid pathway(s) surrounds at least a portion of the continuous X-ray generator. The device 1 is capable of being received within a geometrically restricted space/cavity provided between an underside of the vehicle 6 and an adjacent road surface.</p> |
