摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery manufacturing method which involves manufacturing an electrode mixture paste having excellent properties by using an electrode active material consisting of graphite particles covered with amorphous film and which uses the electrode mixture paste in manufacturing a secondary battery.SOLUTION: In a secondary battery manufacturing method, a powder component of a secondary battery electrode mixture layer and a solvent component are kneaded together to manufacture an electrode mixture paste and an electrode plate having an electrode mixture layer formed from the electrode mixture paste is used to manufacture a secondary battery. Although an electrode active material is used when producing an actual electrode mixture paste, preliminary kneading is carried out in which powder having replaced it with graphite particles constituting the nucleus thereof and a solvent having the same solvent component as used in producing the electrode mixture paste are kneaded together by injecting the solvent into the powder while measuring the absorbed amount thereof and kneading torque. A ratio of the powder amount at the start of the preliminary kneading and the solvent amount when kneading torque indicated a peak is determined to be a blending ratio for production kneading. Production kneading is carried out at this mixture ratio to manufacture the electrode mixture paste.
