<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head which suppresses erroneous discharge of ink. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet head includes a base part, a nozzle plate, a plurality of first nozzles, and a plurality of second nozzles. The base part includes a plurality of pressure chambers to which ink is supplied, and a plurality of driving elements for pressurizing the ink in the pressure chambers by deforming upon voltage application. The nozzle plate is mounted on the base part. The plurality of first nozzles are provided to the nozzle plate and opened to the pressure chambers. By the deformation of the driving elements applied with ink discharge voltage, the ink in the pressure chambers is discharged. The plurality of second nozzles are provided to the nozzle plate and opened to the pressure chambers, have larger opening areas than the first nozzles, and store the ink in the pressure chambers when the driving elements applied with the ink discharge voltage are deformed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
