The device (110) has a unidirectional coupling element (124) divided into partial coupling elements (125, 126). One of the partial coupling elements is fixed at a load retaining area (112) or another coupling element (119) or a lever arm by a fine adjustable bent support (127), and the other partial coupling element is fixed at a calibration lever arm by another fine adjustable bent support (128). The partial coupling elements are aligned to each other such that traction or compression force is transmitted from the latter support to the former support by the divided coupling element. An independent claim is also included for a gravimetric measuring instrument comprising a pressure sensor for detecting surrounding pressure.
