The invention relates to a tool head (1) having a tool head axis (7) which acts as an axis of rotation when connected to a rotating machine spindle (80) of a machine tool. The tool head (1) has a main body (2). The main body has an adjustable slide (6) which can be equipped with a cutting tool. According to the invention the main body (2) supports an atomising system (36) for the provision of cooling lubricant aerosol (38) on the cutting tool (10).
