<p>The method involves bringing a portion of a clamping strip (14) i.e. Velcro (RTM: hook and loop fastener) strip, at right angles over pipes (10). A spreading stamper (16) is pressed on two sides of the pipes against a planar base (12) by the pipes, where the stamper comprises a recess (18) for displaceable guiding of the pipes. Strips of a Velcro (RTM: hook and loop fastener) cloth tape are moved transverse to a longitudinal direction of the pipes before placing the pipes on the planar base, where a width of the strips is larger than a width of the clamping strip. An independent claim is also included for a device for fastening pipes on a planar base.</p>
