<p>A bedside storage container comprising a receptacle, at least one hook or support bracket 16 attached to the receptacle for engaging a bed rail, a stabilisation member attached to a base of the receptacle and pivotally movable between an operative position wherein it extends downwardly and a closed position wherein it is positioned parallel to the base of the receptacle and in the vicinity of the base and a retaining member which can secure the stabilisation member in its operative position. The stabilising bar may be attached by a hinge and the underside of the receptacle may have feet 22 which extend down further than the stabilisation member when collapsed. The retaining member may be a locking plate attached to the stabilisation member by a living hinge. The container may have a lockable lid 10, be stackable and have means to connect two together.</p> |
