<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new functional material containing a plurality of hardly digestible components, developing a variety of balanced physiological functions applicable in the field of foods, drinks and medicines and having excellent action and effect. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a material containing a large amount of hardly digestible components comprises the amylolytic enzyme treatment and proteolytic enzyme treatment of a raw material derived from vegetables and the solid-liquid separation of the product to remove the liquid component.
