<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle type vehicle that allows a driver to drastically change his or her posture on the vehicle as he or she likes. <P>SOLUTION: In sports mode as shown in Fig.(a), a driver 79 puts his or her foot on a rear step 29 to lean forward. First and second link plates 64, 65 are expanded. When the first and second link plates 64, 65 are folded into a V-shape, a rear structure 40 is rotated in the counter-clockwise direction. A front structure 20 is rotated in the clockwise direction. A bending angleΘ2 in Fig.(b) is reduced, accordingly. The ground height H2 of a drive source support case 44 is smaller (H2<H1) in Fig.(b) than in Fig.(a), thereby reducing the position of the center of gravity. The position of a seat 26 is reduced, as well. As a result, in Fig.(b) shows cruising mode, and the driver 79 puts his or her foot on a front step 51.
