<p>The present invention provides a method for implementing point-to-point remote loopback of Ethernet, and the method is applied to a controlling end and/or a controlled end in a process of establishing and/or ending the remote loopback. The method includes: monitoring its own state; and judging whether there is any predetermined subsequent operation in its current state according to received operation signal or state change information. The present invention also provides an apparatus for implementing point-to-point remote loopback of Ethernet. The scheme of the present invention enables the controlling end and the controlled end in various abnormal states to perform the subsequent operations or be restored to the Operations, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM) normal state.</p> |
