A labelling machine 400 has a configuration of its components such that a vertical distance H of a labelling beak 30 and/or print head, relative to articles 408 to be labelled is minimised, such as by having all the components on a generally horizontal plate or plates 410a, 410b, with pulleys under the plate(s) 410a, 410b, interconnecting various drives and spools. This arrangement may better permit the labelling machine to conform with small tolerances of distance, vertically and horizontally from an article 408 corner, proximate to which, the labels are to be applied. |
