An epilatory wax kit comprises a device 1 for heating an epilatory wax and at least one unit block of a solidified epilatory wax. The device 1 comprises a chamber 2 which receives the solid wax, the chamber 2 being provided with a heating means in the form of a tower 3. The tower 3 is preferably located in the centre of the chamber. The tower 3 may have a height of up to 95% that of the chamber, and may cover 20-80% of the area of the chamber. The blocks of wax are preferably in the form of discs which may have a circumference of 55mm and a depth of 7mm. Temperature controlling means may be provided, which includes a sensor for measuring the temperature of the wax. |
