The implant has a rod (1) connected by a neck (2) with a head (3). The rod includes a metaphyseal part (4) extended by a tail (6) from the neck, where a major axis of the rod forms an angle with a minor axis of the neck. The tail includes two planar faces parallel to each other and to a sagittal plane of the implant, where the planar faces of the tail are connected to each other by two non-planar faces of anti-rotation longitudinal elements (18). The anti-rotation elements are formed as fins or ribs protruding from a surface of the tail. An independent claim is also included for an ancillary for implantation of femoral recovery implant.
