<p>A vehicle ramp 2 for a vehicle 4 having a tow-hitch 6. The ramp 2 comprising two ramp members 8 having a ground-engaging end 10 and a vehicle proximate end 12 and a cross-member (14, Figure 1) between the vehicle proximate ends 12 of the ramp members 8. The cross-member (14) has a vehicle tow-hitch mating assembly 16 to locate and support the vehicle ramp 2 on the vehicle 4 in use. In this way, the vehicle ramp 2 can be suitably and easily located next to the rear of the vehicle having the tow-hitch, and large and/or heavy items can be moved along the ramp 2 between the ground and the vehicle to load and unload the item without straight 'lifting' of the item. Preferably the ramp 2 includes a vehicle rear-bumper 24 engagement surface and the two hitch mating assembly 16 may be an aperture 17 which may have a steel plate 28 secured to the top of the aperture 17 to meet the tow-hitch 6 and take all the loading therethrough.</p> |
