PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle start control system capable of adequately increasing the idle speed for the next start while waiting for the start.SOLUTION: The vehicle start control system includes an engine control unit (9), and a transmission control unit (10). The transmission control unit (10) has a function which determines whether or not the start is impossible (whether or not the previous start has been impossible), and when the start is determined to be impossible (when determined that the previous start has been impossible), starts a control signal for increasing the idle speed (up to the prescribed speed) to the engine control unit (9). |
