<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly efficiently access an electronic control device from the outside. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic control device 1 includes: a mode selection unit 21 for setting a user mode for permitting to read/write a part of data, and a supervisor mode for permitting to read/write a wider range of the data than that of the user mode; a use mode setting unit 22 for, when the user mode is selected, accepting a command from the outside; and a supervisor mode setting unit 23 for, when the supervisor mode is selected, accepting a command from the outside.
