<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front structure of a vehicle body, in which stress is prevented from being concentrated on a side body panel and collision energy is dispersed also in a front pillar when a front end collision occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The front structure of the vehicle body, which has a pair of right-and-left dash side panels 116 and a side body panels 118, further has: a first hollow part 128 formed by joining the dash side panel 116 to a hinge pillar-reinforced panel 120, which is arranged between the dash side panel 116 and the side body panel 118, to have a closed cross-sectional structure; a second hollow part 130 formed by joining a front pillar inner panel 126, which is arranged to be extended in the first hollow part 128, to the hinge pillar-reinforced panel 120 to have another closed cross-sectional structure; and a pair of right-and-left cowl side members 122 each of which is fixed to a part of the hinge pillar-reinforced panel 120 formed the second hollow part 130 by using a bolt 132, and each of which is arranged in front of a front window 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
