<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical light irradiation device which appropriately treats tumor tissues while suppressing side-effects and is especially effective for treatment of a deep solid tumor. <P>SOLUTION: The medical light irradiation device 1 includes a catheter shaft 10 having a distal end inserted inside the human body and a light source device 20 for emitting light discontinuously, transmits light emitted from the light source device 20 from the proximal end side to the distal end side of the catheter shaft 20, and irradiates the human body with light. The medical light irradiation device 1 includes: a chemical supply source 30 for supplying a treatment chemical; chemical liquid supply flow paths 31, 32 for flowing the chemical supplied by the chemical liquid supply source 30 from the proximal end side to the distal end side inside the catheter shaft 10 and having it reach the specific part of the human body; an optical fiber 40 for transmitting the light emitted from the light source device 20 from the proximal end side to the distal end side inside the catheter shaft 10; and a light diffusing means 50 provided to the distal end of the optical fiber 40 so as to diffuse the light emitted and transmitted from the light source device 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
