<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decode encoded data encoded by using a low rate encoding method capable of generating a signal having image quality subjectively close to an original signal. <P>SOLUTION: An image decoding apparatus includes: waveform decode processing means for generating and outputting decoded image data; means for restoring and outputting restored image data having the same resolution as encoding object image data; means for generating and outputting histogram information composed of a histogram of a pixel value with respect to the restored image data and a histogram of a transfer coefficient; means for generating and outputting difference information between histogram information with respect to the encoding object image data and histogram information with respect to the restored image data; means for generating and outputting the histogram information with respect to the encoding object image data; and means for generating and outputting the decoded image data. The image decoding apparatus replaces a low frequency component of composite image data with a low frequency component of the restored image data and sets image data obtained by performing inverse Fourier transformation of the frequency component after replacement as a texture composite processing object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
