<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce damages on a filter for toner solid-liquid separation and to efficiently regenerate the filter. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing a toner for electrostatic charge image development includes a production process of the toner for electrostatic charge image development, in which after a dispersion liquid containing toner particles in an aqueous medium is subjected to solid-liquid separation by a filter to separate the toner particles, the filter is regenerated by cleaning with water having a medium hardness scale of 60 mg/L or more and 120 mg/L or less in terms of American degrees, and then the regenerated filter is again used to separate toner particles by carrying out solid-liquid separation on a dispersion liquid containing the toner particles in an aqueous medium.
