<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress heat damage in a contact chip for applying arc welding in hybrid welding by which a part of a work preheated by a heating source such as a laser output device or the like is arc-welded. <P>SOLUTION: A welding head 10 includes a contact chip 14 wherein a welding wire 12 for applying arc welding is fed to a part 20 of a work W preheated by a heating source from an opening at the tip thereof, and it is provided with a plume shielding plate 18 provided adjacent to the contact chip 14. The tip end 14a of the contact chip 14 is covered with the plume shielding plate 18 so as to prevent at least the tip end 14a thereof from being applied with a large amount of plume P resulted from heating of the work W by the heating source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
