<p>The invention relates to a food product packaging (1) comprising foil material (2) for enclosing a food product (3), e.g. a piece of Brie cheese or a slice of pâté. The foil material (2) is provided with a first weakening line (4), e.g. a perforated line. The food packaging (1) further comprises a first label (5) which is arranged on the foil material (2) and which is provided with a second weakening line (6) coinciding with the first weakening line (4). The food product packaging (1) also comprises a tearing means (7), e.g. a pull tab, for allowing a user of the packaging (1) to take hold of the first label (5) and to exert a pulling force at the first label (5) for tearing the first label (5) and an underlying portion of the foil material (2) at a position of the first (4) and second (6) weakening lines. The invention also relates to a method of packaging a food product (3) in a food product packaging (1) set forth.</p> |
