<p>Provided is a grinding wheel mounting apparatus that reduces the weight of a grinding wheel to be replaced, enabling the grinding wheel to be easily mounted on a grinding wheel spindle while ensuring centering precision. Thus, a grinding wheel mounting shaft (20a) on which the inner peripheral surface (25a) of the grinding wheel (19) is mounted is provided to the grinding wheel spindle (20); an introduction and mating section (20a1) having a smaller dimension in the radial direction than the diameter dimension of the inner peripheral surface of the grinding wheel is formed on the outer periphery of the grinding wheel mounting shaft; an arc-shaped mating protruding section (20a2), which concentrically mates with and holds the grinding wheel on the grinding wheel mounting shaft, is formed over an angular range of less than 180° at the base end of the introduction and mating section; a relief section (20a3) having a smaller dimension in the radial direction than the introduction and mating section is separated from the mating protruding section in the axial direction at the shaft end side of the grinding wheel mounting shaft on the introduction and mating section, and is formed over a predetermined angular range at a position facing the mating protruding section in the circumferential direction.</p> |
