<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical blind and a window side structure using the same that can improve the cold draft phenomenon and the trouble involved in hot-air movement while enabling a slat to display its heat insulation property fully without damaging the rotation performance of the slat. <P>SOLUTION: In a vertical blind 1 where adjoining slats 22 and 22 are suspended independently, the slat 22 comprises a long blade 2 and a long lace bag 9 for covering the blade 2.
