A storage bin 12 is discharged into shoot 140 by being mounted on cradle 114 which is then lowered by the de-energization of fluid cylinder 142, the cradle 114 pivoting about 116 so that the lower discharge aperture of bin 12 rests over the gasket 156 which frames the aperture leading into shoot 140. The pivoted flap which controls the discharge aperture of bin 12 is opened by hand when the cradle is in this lower position to permit the material to be discharged from the bin down the shoot 140. |
