摘要 Devices and methods are provided for drug delivery. The device may include a housing configured for intralumenal deployment into a human or animal subject and first and second reservoirs within the housing, each reservoir having an actuation end, an opposed release end, and a plug moveable from the actuation end toward the release end. First and second drug formulations may be contained in the first and second reservoirs, respectively. The device may also include one or more actuation systems configured to drive the first and second plugs so as to drive the first and second drug formulations from the first and second reservoirs. The housing may include a porous membrane sidewall in fluid communication with the release ends of the first and second reservoirs, the porous membrane sidewall being configured to distribute the first and second drug formulations driven from the first and second reservoirs.

A device for drug delivery comprising: a housing configured for intraluminal deployment into a human or animal subject; a first reservoir located within the housing and comprising a first drug formulation, the first reservoir having a first actuation end and a first opposed release end; a first plug within the first reservoir and being moveable from the first actuation end toward the first release end; a second reservoir located within the housing and comprising a second drug formulation, the second reservoir having a second actuation end and a second opposed release end; a second plug within the second reservoir and being moveable from the second actuation end toward the second release end; one or more actuation systems configured to drive the first and second plugs so as to drive the first and second drug formulations from the first and second reservoirs, wherein the housing comprises a porous membrane sidewall in fluid communication with the first and second release ends of the first and second reservoirs, the porous membrane sidewall being configured to distribute the first and second drug formulations driven from the first and second reservoirs, respectively, to a tissue area adjacent the porous membrane sidewall when the device is deployed intraluminally in the human or animal subject, wherein the porous membrane sidewall comprises a fluidic valve configured such that a critical threshold pressure from about 0.1 psi to about 100 psi is required to distribute the first and second drug formulations to the tissue area.
