<p>The present invention relates to a TO-type wavelength tunable optical receiver capable of varying a received wavelength by using a wavelength tunable filter in which a penetrated light wavelength is changed by temperatures. The optical receiver of a TO-type package according to the present invention, wherein an thermoelectric element is disposed on an upper part of a stem base, and a light acceptable photo diode chip is disposed on an upper part of the thermoelectric element, and the wavelength tunable filter in which the wavelength is changed according to the temperatures of the thermoelectric element, is disposed on the upper part of the light acceptable photo diode chip. The present invention can obtain a quick wavelength tunable characteristic by taking a method that the wavelength selected by the thermoelectric element is changed, and can improve the signal transmitting quality, wherein a TIA chip is disposed on the metal stand so that the TIA chip is placed at the similar height with the photo diode having a higher height by being disposed on the thermoelectric element, and wherein the metal stand has a penetration hole formed therein, and an electrode pin for transmitting a signal is inserted into the inside of the penetration hole, and the electrode pin for transmitting a signal allows impedance matching of a part protruding toward inside TO package.</p> |
