The present invention provides a method for transmitting and receiving a downlink control channel and an apparatus thereof. For an arbitrary control channel which is repeated N times, the present invention confines a downlink sub-frames, from which the corresponding control channel starts, to a subset of downlink sub-frames configured in a corresponding cell and determines a starting downlink sub-frame subset from which the corresponding control channel starts. According to the present invention, a method for a base station to transmit a downlink control channel to a terminal includes: a step of determining a starting sub-frame among a plurality of downlink sub-frames through which the downlink control channel is repeatedly transmitted; and a step of repeatedly transmitting the downlink control channel through the downlink sub-frames based on the determined starting sub-frame. |
