PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve bone regenerative capacity by promoting predation by undifferentiated stem cells and macrophages.SOLUTION: A bone morphogenetic material comprising a base material consisting of calcium phosphate porous body granules whose particle size is not more than 100 μm, and a low molecular weight compound adhering or being adsorbed to the base material is provided. When the particle size is not more than 100 μm, predation by macrophages, which are mononuclear leukocyte cells, becomes easy. When the particle size is not more than 10 μm, endocytosis by undifferentiated stem cells which are smaller than the macrophages becomes easy. By adsorbing low molecular weight compounds, the macrophages and undifferentiated stem cells promote bone morphogenetic action, and quick bone regeneration can be attempted. |
