PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger protection device which can exactly protect a passenger by means of an inflated airbag even upon such an oblique collision that an impact force is operated from the front side of a buckle part on a seat belt device.SOLUTION: A passenger protection device S includes a seat belt device 15 and an air bag device 25 arranged on a fastening portion P neighborhood on which a tongue 18 is fastened to a buckle part 19 on the seat belt device 15 on a seat PS. The air bag device 25 includes a lap belt part 17b and an air bag 32 which is inflated on a portion between a shoulder belt part 17a and a passenger MP who sits on the seat PS. The air bag 32 includes a front side inflation part 39 which is arranged so as to be extended to the front side and a rear side inflation part 42 arranged so as to be extended to rear upper side. Therein, the rear side inflation part 42 which is pushed by the passenger MP when the passenger MP upon the actuation of impact force from the buckle part 19 side front side is moved to the front side, the rear side inflation part 42 pushed by the passenger MP can be brought into contact with the front side inflation part 39 across the fastening portion P neighborhood. |
