PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying apparatus and drying method that can prevent shaking phenomena of a porous membrane while being carried and prevent generation of swells or creases.SOLUTION: The drying apparatus includes a plurality of air supply ports arranged in a housing in one direction to inject air toward a porous membrane being carried in the one direction; and a plurality of air exhaust ports in the one direction so as to exhaust air that has been injected from the air supply ports to an exterior of the housing. The plurality of air supply ports are arranged to face each other at opposite sides of the porous membrane.
