<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atom oscillator, or the like capable of stabilizing near a minimum point of an absorption band.SOLUTION: An atom oscillator 1 includes a gas cell 13, a semiconductor laser 10, a photodetector 14, bias current control means (current control circuit 22, or the like), which controls a bias current on the basis of the intensity of light detected by the photodetector 14, a memory 26, and an MPU 25. The MPU 25 performs a sweeping process for sweeping a bias current and stores, in the memory 26, a value of the bias current and a value of light intensity when the light intensity that is detected by the photodetector 14 shifts from decreasing to increasing, and a re-sweeping determination process which sets the bias current based on the value of the bias current that is stored after the sweeping process, and in a state where the bias current control means controls the bias current, compares the light intensity detected by the photodetector 14 with a value of the light intensity that is stored, to determine whether or not to perform the sweeping process again.</p> |
