<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a strobe control method in which a mechanical shutter is not used.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a light emission part for outputting strobe light; a light emission control part for controlling light emission timing in the light emission part; a plurality of pixels each having a first light receiving element and a second light receiving element; and a reading part for reading pixel values of successively selected pixels. The first light receiving elements of the plurality of pixels simultaneously start light reception at first timing and the second light receiving elements of the plurality of pixels simultaneously start light reception at second timing later than the first timing. The reading part simultaneously read output values of the first light receiving element and the second light receiving element in the selected pixel and calculates a pixel value of the pixel by subtracting the output value of the second light receiving element from the output value of the first light receiving element. The light emission control part has a light emission mode for making the light emission part emit light at the second timing.</p> |
