PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial treatment agent having an excellent hot water resistance and capable of suppressing the slime on water-around member such as a drainage member provided in a kitchen sink or a bathroom drain outlet, for a long period of time.SOLUTION: Provided is an antibacterial treatment agent that comprises a quaternary ammonium salt (A) represented by the following formula (1) and a polycarboxylic acid (B) having a hydrocarbon group of 6 or more carbon atoms and 2 or more carboxyl groups. (In formula (1): Rrepresents an alkyl group of 16 to 18 carbon atoms; R, R, R, R, Reach independently represent an alkyl group of 1 to 3 carbon atoms; and Rrepresents an alkylene group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
