PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device for a pedestrian that when an air bag is expanded and inflated, can suppress floating-up from a storage site side of a vertical inflation part and flapping, and rapidly cover the front face side of a front pillar.SOLUTION: An air bag 27 comprises: a lateral inflation part 29 that is arranged almost along a transverse direction when inflation is completed; and two vertical inflation parts 39 extending rearward from both ends of the lateral inflation part 29. Inner regions of the lateral inflation part 29 are partitioned by partitioning parts 35 and 36 into lateral cell parts 30 and 32 parallely arranged longitudinally. A gas inflow part 41 is arranged near a front lateral cell part 30 arranged at the front side. The partitioning parts 35 and 36 comprise a partitioning part 36 that extends from left and right end sides toward left and right inner sides of the lateral inflation part 29 and is arranged to block a front region of the vertical inflation part 39. The air bag 27 comprises a tether 45 that connects an original part side to a site on a tip side of the end side partitioning part 36 and regulates separation distance from a storage site. |
