<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yoke for two-conductor use convertible to four-conductor use and an installation method for additional power transmission cables.SOLUTION: A yoke for two-conductor use convertible to four-conductor use has a lateral yoke part extending in left-and-right directions and a longitudinal yoke part extending in up-and-down directions. The lateral yoke part and the longitudinal yoke part cross each other at the right angle at the approximate center in the respective lengthwise directions. The lateral yoke part has fitting holes respectively provided at the front left and right ends to link insulator chains and engaging holes respectively provided at the rear left and right ends to link linking metal fittings. The longitudinal yoke part has a first clevis part and a second clevis part respectively linking a horizontal yoke to the upper and lower ends. By laying a transmission cable formed of two conductors between the engaging holes via the linking metal fittings, the yoke can be used as an item for two-conductor use, while it can be converted to one for four-conductor use by fitting the horizontal yoke to each of the first and second clevis parts and laying transmission cables, each formed of two conductors, via the linking metal fittings.</p> |
